March 12, 2021 Dear CertainTeed and Vytec Siding Products Customers: Recent weather events in Texas and surrounding areas have caused a significant interruption to the production and supply of raw materials used to produce our vinyl siding and accessories. These disruptions are beyond our reasonable control and are directly impacting our color offering and service policy. Effective immediately, we have temporarily suspended order placement and production of the following colors for panels, soffit and accessories, across all vinyl siding product lines:
No new orders of these colors can be placed until further notice. If these colors are inadvertently included on a Purchase Order submitted to Customer Service, they will be automatically removed. Current open orders against these colors will be reviewed and supported to the best of our ability. Any color not listed above remains available to order. There is no impact to the availability of any Cedar Impressions® colors. We anticipate that this supply interruption should last approximately 60 to 90 days, and we are working very closely with our suppliers to minimize further impacts of this disruption. An update will be communicated once orders can be resumed for the colors impacted. In addition, effective immediately, to better maximize our overall production during this period of high demand, we are implementing a revision to our service policy. All new orders will now be due into Customer Service six (6) business days before shipment. Changes can be made five (5) business days prior to shipment. All material adds must be in stock material only. Your Customer Account Specialist and Territory Manager are available to answer any questions you may have regarding these changes.
